Your foreman sends a voice note. The office gets the daily log.
Foremen keep doing what they already do: voice notes, texts and photos on WhatsApp, in English or Spanish. SiteDay sorts them by job, picks out the crew count, work done, materials, weather and delays, adds the photos and sends a finished daily log PDF for every project each evening.
For general contractors, remodelers and specialty subcontractors running a handful of jobs at once, who need a daily log for every job and don't want another app in the field.
Today, someone in the office pieces it together every evening
Chase the foremen
Text each foreman at the end of the day for the headcount, what got done and what went wrong.
Listen and type
Replay voice notes, some of them in Spanish, and type them into the daily log template.
Sort the photos
Save photos out of WhatsApp and match each one to the right job and the right day.
Look up the weather
Check what the weather really was at each job, because a rain delay needs proof later.
Skip a day and the gap shows up exactly when a change order, a delay claim or a dispute with a client needs the record.
With SiteDay
Foremen send updates the way they do now
Voice notes, typed messages and photos to your company's SiteDay WhatsApp number, by text message or by email. English, Spanish or a mix. Nothing to install and no login.
Each message lands in the right job's log
The job is recognized from what was said or from where that foreman is working today. Crew by company, work done, materials, equipment, inspections, delays and safety notes go into their sections. Spanish is translated to English and the original is kept. The weather is recorded for the job address.
A daily log PDF every evening
One PDF per job per day, with photos and times, sent to the office at the hour you choose and filed by project. Anything unclear is marked for a person to check, and the office can edit the log before it goes to a client or GC.
Try it with one day of messages
Fictional jobs, foremen and companies. Nothing is recorded, uploaded or sent.

What SiteDay doesn't do
It does one thing: makes sure every job has a complete daily log, every day.
- It is not project management software: no schedules, budgets, bids or invoices
- It does not ask foremen to install an app or fill in a form
- It never makes up a number: if a headcount or quantity wasn't said, the field is left empty and marked
- It never guesses the job: an unclear message waits for a person
Pricing
Pay only for jobs that are running. Free 14-day trial. Prices in US dollars, taxes calculated at checkout.
Per active project
A project is billed only in months it has at least one daily log. Every foreman and office user is included.
- Unlimited voice notes, messages and photos
- English and Spanish, mixed is fine
- A daily log PDF for every job, every day
- Weather recorded for each job address
- Review list for anything unclear
- Logs filed and searchable by project
Also for contractors
NoLapse tracks your subcontractors' insurance certificates, licenses and lien waivers, and reminds the sub and you before anything expires.
Questions
What goes in a construction daily log?
A daily log, also called a daily report or site diary, records for each day on a job: who was on site and from which company, hours, work performed, materials delivered, equipment, weather, inspections and visitors, delays, safety incidents and photos. Many commercial contracts require one, and it is the record you rely on for change orders, delay claims and disputes. SiteDay fills every one of these sections from what your foremen send.
Do my foremen need to install an app?
No. They send voice notes, messages and photos to your company's SiteDay WhatsApp number, by text message or by email, the same way they update you today. There is no login and nothing new to learn.
Does it work with WhatsApp?
Yes. WhatsApp voice notes, texts and photos are the main way in: foremen save your company's SiteDay number and send to it. Foremen who prefer text messages or email can use those instead.
Can foremen talk in Spanish?
Yes. Foremen can talk in English, Spanish or a mix of both. The log is written in English, and the original transcript is kept next to each entry so anyone can check what was said.
How does it know which job a message is about?
From what the foreman says, such as the job name, street or client, or from the job that foreman is working on that day. If a foreman runs several jobs and the message does not say which one, it goes to a review list instead of being guessed.
Where does the weather come from?
From recorded weather data for the job address: temperature, rain or snow and wind, in the morning and the afternoon. Anything the foreman says about the weather, like rain stopping work, is added next to it.
What if it hears something wrong?
Every line in the log links to the voice note, message or photo it came from. Numbers that were not said clearly are marked for a person to check, and the office can edit any log before it is sent to a client or general contractor.
Does it replace Procore, Buildertrend or Raken?
No. It only makes the daily log. You can upload the PDF to your project management software, attach it to a pay application or send it to the GC or owner. If you already use one of those tools, SiteDay saves your foremen from typing into it.
How much does it cost?
$49 per active project per month. A project is billed only in months it has at least one daily log, and every foreman and office user is included. Free 14-day trial.
