Terms of Service

These terms apply to the website yansquared.com, and the YAN² software tools (including PODfile and CourtCal). They are an agreement between you and Yanyan WANG, trading as YanSquared (France), referred to as "we" below.

1. Who can use YAN²

Our tools are intended for businesses. By signing up you confirm that you act on behalf of a business and have authority to accept these terms for it.

2. Orders and payment

Subscriptions to our software tools are sold through our online reseller Dodo Payments (dodopayments.com). Dodo Payments (dodopayments.com) is the Merchant of Record for all those orders. Dodo Payments provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns for those orders.

3. Subscriptions

Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. Per-delivery plans are billed monthly in arrears for the deliveries processed.

4. Your data

You keep all rights to the documents and data you send through our tools. We process them only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. For personal data inside your documents, we act as your processor.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use YAN² to break the law, send unsolicited messages, infringe others' rights, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.

6. Results and human review

Our tools use automated recognition and AI. Results can be wrong. Items below a confidence threshold are held for review, and you are responsible for checking results before relying on them.

7. Availability and changes

We aim for the service to be available at all times but do not guarantee it. We may change features; we will give at least 30 days' notice before a price increase.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits.

9. Law

These terms are governed by French law. Disputes that cannot be settled amicably go to the competent French courts.
